A client since 2008, the
Village of Algonquin, IL had a very specific idea for the design of their new website in 2016. The result - an innovative, dynamic website that reduces the amount of scrolling required for their constituents to reach the information that they need.

ALGONQUIN HOME PAGE Designed with moving slides to ensure that key pages like the home page and category pages do not scroll. News and event areas move content in and out, creating a dynamic home page.
RESIDENTS PAGE Residents page features links to key services and document types (e.g. E-Newsletters). Category pages like this one have navigation arrows to "slide" pages - from Home thru Categories ... and back.
E-NEWS PAGE Two content windows that feature the quarterly Village e-newsletter (pdf - published via the Document Center) - and the monthly e-newsletter (published via Social Media & Alerts).
BOARDS PAGE Features a list of all divisions that are classified as Boards - and has a link to all of the meeting dates, agendas and minutes for each of the boards.
EVENTS AT-A-GLANCE The Events Calendar has multiple views, including calendar and "at-a-glance" - that features upcoming events. Events calendar can be filtered by type, department/division and more.
HUMAN RESOURCES PAGE Features news items with related images - along with an area for current job postings, forms and applications and more. A one-stop shop for Village Employment information.
